Enough said. You have to hand it to them. In court, my wife got crushed like an empty beer can. A lawyer friend told me that it made perfect sense for Johns Hopkins Medicine to have a woman lawyer defend this case, because only a woman could disembowel another woman on the stand and get away with it. He told me that even among trial lawyers, women who do combat in courtrooms for corporate interests are notorious for having no scruples. “But,” he said, “you can’t hate them for it. They are doing their job.”
I suppose. But it is deeply troubling to watch deliberate cruelty in action…
